Peter Farkas
Peter Farkas has been turning wood since 2003.
He sources most of his timbers locally. His work
often makes use of embellishments such as
pyrography, texturing, carving, inlaying, paint
and gold or copper leafing. All pieces undergo
a careful finishing process using high quality
selected oils or a precautersied lacquer.
Peter challenges himself to bring out the
wonderful features of timber, such as its texture'
colour and natural warm feel, in each of the
pieces he creates. He does this with exceptional
success and each piece is unique and an
absolute work of art.
